Only released in the best years and made from our finest parcels, all grapes for the Aviator are grown with a specific target in mind, brought into the winery at perfect ripeness where traditional Bordeaux winemaking practices are combined with methods that enhance the best of our Bridge Pa, Hawke's Bay terroir. The Aviator 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon 52%, Cabernet Franc 24%, Merlot 18%, Malbec 6%. The Aviator 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Cabernet Franc 22%, Merlot 21%, Malbec 7%. The wines show a complex bouquet, silken texture and firm structure. Already very approachable for enjoyment now, these classic wines will continue to develop gracefully for over 10+ years.
