The Pilot
Merlot Cabernet

Winemaker - Kate Galloway 2004-2014. Garnet hues with lighter red tones. Cabernet aromas are to the fore, particularly currant aromas that are still bright and fresh. Spice and sweet vanilla flavours from oak support the currant and red plum. Complex mature flavours of dark toffee and toast are carried by a line of fine, silky tannin. Tasted recently by Winemaker Barry Riwai.
